Hannah Uhrich


As chapter president I work closely with the executive council to ensure that officers and chairmen are performing their jobs as outlined in their respective handbooks. I also preside at formal and informal chapter meetings, executive council meetings and all ritual ceremonies. While also ensuring the chapter upholds the ideals and traditions of Sigma Kappa and guards the ritual and private documents of the Sorority. I am knowledgeable about all policies and procedures while also working closely with the Advisory Board Supervisor and other alumnae volunteers. Lastly, I serve as the official representative of Sigma Kappa on campus at Iowa State University.

  • Favorite thing about Sigma Kappa: My favorite thing about SK is our value of service! We all come together to raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer's and we get to see the impact of our service at the walk! The event is so inspiring and my favorite event of the year :)

Betsy Wilson

Vice President of Programming

I organize and prepare programming for our chapter. I create Member Enrichments which are held every other week, I share Respect Topics with our chapter, and create and oversee committees that help run our chapter.

Maria Crawford

Vice President of Standards and Values

I make sure everyone in Sigma Kappa upholds the values of our chapter by holding members accountable. I also recognize women who are outstanding members. I enforce safety within the chapter and am in charge of rewriting the Code of Conduct when needed.

Tori Shaffer

Vice President of Communications and Operations

I take minutes at every Formal Chapter, Member Enrichment, and Executive Council meetings. I also take attendance at all functions and keep track of points for all members. I update the membership status and keep track of the chapter roster.

Rachael Colwell

Panhellenic Delegate

I attend Delegate Meetings put on by our Collegiate Panhellenic Council and I am a liaison between Sigma Kappa and our college Panhellenic. I also host Sister Socials with our sister pairing for the semester.

Halle Walker

Vice President of New Member Education

As New Member Educator, I mentor all new members and lead them through the promise program. I plan and execute bid day, plan out the heart sister program, initiation, and all new member events/ activities.

Naomi Walker

Vice President of Finance

As the Vice President of Finance, I create a budget for Sigma Kappa for the next school year, bill out chapter dues and other miscellaneous fees to members on Billhighway, hold AFS meetings with members if they have fallen behind with their payments, work with NHC on housing agreements, and code prepaid card transactions.

Lindsay Castleman

Vice President of Membership

I am in charge of membership for Sigma Kappa. This includes planning primary recruitment, preparing our members to execute recruitment, as well as working with the COB chair and VPNME for informal recruitment in both the fall and spring.

  • Favorite thing about Sigma Kappa: My favorite part about Sigma Kappa is the way the chapter pushes their members to become the best leaders they can be. I have never once felt out of place within Sigma Kappa.

Shea Curran

Vice President of Academic Excellence

As Vice President of Academic Excellence, I make sure the Alpha Epsilon chapter is meeting our GPA requirement, helping members reach their academic goals, and motivate them to do better in school. I also supply resources to help each member succeed academically, as well as, benefit their mental health.

Jade Paulsen

Vice President of Philanthropic Services

As the Vice President of Philanthropic Services, I am in charge of Sigma Kappa's spring and fall philanthropy events. I plan and execute these events that members of our Greek community attend and our national philanthropies receive profits from. I also organize our Day of Service, Week of Giving, Adopt-A-Highway events, where our women clean up a mile of our local highway, and overall I educate our members on our five philanthropies.

  • Favorite thing about Sigma Kappa: My favorite thing about Sigma Kappa is being surrounded by women who push me to be the best version of me I can be and constantly keep me laughing. I love that I can be myself in Sigma Kappa.
